Session Description:
Ensuring an acceptable level of uninterrupted service while meeting the stringent data protection and recoverability requirements can be a daunting and challenging task. As organizations grow more dependent on the continuance of technology, sufficient recovery and availability controls are essential. There are a number of recovery options available—how do you choose the right solution?

In this session we will provide insight on the how to assess and improve your organization’s disaster recovery program. This session will review the available alternatives for disaster recovery, discuss industry trends and regulatory requirements, and a provide methodology for evaluating and selecting the appropriate options. We will then facilitate an interactive mock disaster exercise in which session participants will collaborate on how to respond to a disaster event.
