Session Description:
How well does procurement work in your organization? Do programs get what they need when they need it? We have seen many procurement processes, and most of them are either too strict or too lenient. In this session we will look at the components of an effective, efficient process that is compliant with the Uniform Guidance. We will cover the role of a procurement department, the role of the fiscal deptartment in purchasing, appropriate limits and approvals, how to implement micro-purchases, and what a sealed bid is and why it matters. We will incorporate the regulations.
