Learning Objectives:
1. Review the structure and content of a full-scope performance improvement program.
2. Consider staff roles and responsibilities in terms of their contributions to the quality of services provided by the health center.
3. Discover use of the team-based care model for the health center's performance improvement program.
Session Description:
This learning session provides the history of quality focus in health care. Attendees will review the structure and components of a full-scope quality management program and discover how to incorporate staff efforts into the performance improvement objectives in order to successfully respond to grant requirements, participate in population health initiatives, and create metrics for the organization’s mission. Discussion will include Medicare missed opportunities.
