For example, did you know that 401(k), 403(b), and governmental 457(b) plans can offer a Roth feature? Do you and your employees understand the differences and when it is advantageous to utilize this provision? We will explore this provision and many others, as well as the administrative and tax implications of each provision. We will compare and contrast provisions between the plans, including the types of investments allowed, nondiscrimination testing requirements, statutory exemptions, and the overall plan design. We will also provide practical examples for determining the best plan in various circumstances.
