How is this conference different from the other training sessions we conduct during the year, and why should you attend?

Wipfli offers training sessions in different cities throughout the United States year-round, educating organizations on the administrative and financial impact of the federal regulations. For 18 years, Wipfli has been providing the national training conference. Our goal is to help you better serve your communities. Together we will make an impact!

The 18th Annual Wipfli National Training Conference includes multiple sessions with detailed yet easy-to-understand information to help you comply with regulations, seek new revenue opportunities, and impact your mission.

This conference offers such a depth and breadth of experience in all management issues affecting organizations like yours. You can select from multiple sessions presented by our experienced, seasoned trainers who specialize in management issues including finance/accounting/tax, Head Start/Early Head Start, human resources, risk, management/best practices, organization development/leadership, healthcare, Abila software, and technology.

What is the check-in process?

The registration desk is located in the Caesars Palace Conference Center on the Promenade Level in Office 3. Check-in dates and times are as follows:

  • In-Depth Training on OMB's Uniform Guidance Preconference: Sunday, July 9, 2017, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Head Start/Early Head Start Program Performance Standards Preconference: Sunday, July 9, 2017, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Monday Pre-conferences: Monday, July 10, 2017, starting at 8 a.m.
  • General (two options):
    • Monday, July 10, 2017, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    • Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Are refreshments included in the registration fee?

Yes. Light morning and afternoon refreshments are included in the registration fee.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably and in layers! Business casual or casual wear is appropriate. It may be hot outside, but the room temperatures inside tend to be chilly; we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket.

What materials and handouts do we receive?

All session materials and an attendee list will be available online two weeks prior to the conference.  You may download the materials to your computer/device and bring your computer/device with you to the conference. If you prefer to print the materials, please bring them with you, since paper copies will not be available on site.

Do I need to prepare or bring anything?

Come to this conference prepared to learn and have fun! Bring your registration confirmation for fast check-in. How can I get all the sessions I want with the limited time we have at the conference?

We recommend bringing your entire team—this conference offers something for everyone! The preregistration and early-bird rates are the best rates available this year.

Can I select sessions from multiple tracks?

Yes! The tracks are there for your convenience. You have the option to select sessions from multiple tracks or stay within one track.

Will I get a certificate to verify my participation?

Yes! An official certificate of participation will be sent approximately four to six weeks following the conference to those participants who turn in their stamped conference passport at the end of the conference.

Will there be time to ask questions in addition to my session?

Of course! Just visit the Wipfli Q&A Station. Wipfli staff and trainers will be available to answer your questions throughout the conference. Many trainers will be available for brief one-on-one consultation. Contact any Wipfli associate, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can I record this training seminar on tape or video?

No. To promote open discussion and protect the confidentiality of all participant questions and comments, we do not allow our training sessions to be recorded.
